Some experimental images from the most resent model test I have done for Cosmic.
These are also a test for my university final major project. Mostly it's about looking for the style I want my project to have... It might not look like it but it was a pouring rain at the time when we were shooting. I guess it was fun, but it didn't seem so at the time cos everyone were just freaking freezing. Really, my ass was mostly saved by Alice's professional attitude and the support of my team! A huge thanks to you, guys!
But I should just accept it: when I shoot on location it rains 9 times out of 10, so I just have to get on with it and work.

Furniture can make fashion!

Yesterday I had my third graduation shoot.
It was for the most amazing clothing designer ☆Hiroko Nakajima☆, who just graduated from the knit wear course of Central Saint Martins. Being her friend I felt lucky to have an opportunity to collaborate with her. We had very limited resources for this project, shot in her studio flat with no professional lighting, so it was rather spontaneous, but I am quite satisfied with the result.

Our model was a new face from booking and MUA was recommended to me by my friend Nicole. The team was great and we worked it out together. The aim of this photoshoot was not to create clean commercial images, but rather to produce an editorial that would communicate the mood, atmosphere and feel of Hiroko's collection. It all has a slightly vintage feel, as she was inspired by Victorian furniture.

Sneaky preview from the shoot:

Neo-Hippie

All presentations are finished for me this year.
Lcf was more confusing than usual this term, but now it's all done and I can start doing more personal projects.

This was my minor project for this term.
The inspiration came from a Czech new-wave movie Daisies which is amazing and highly recommended. I was aiming this story to have a slightly nostalgic feel with a touch of urbanity <3

Photographic drama

Yesterday was the most hectic day I had in ages.
I was having a shoot for my final major project of this year, had two amazing models, fantastic stylist and my lovely MUA who I work with all the time and my boyfriend was assisting me.

It was all ready and I had the highest expectations.

but

London had it's usual change of weather and it started raining like crazy, so our hands were tied as we couldn't wet the clothes and didn't want models to freeze to death. So the whole thing collapsed. We were devastated, but just couldn't help it.
All the efforts were wasted and the mood was ruined.

I did have a weird presentiment the day before, but last minute cancel based on my intuition just didn't sound right. Well, we could only shoot two male and one female outfits, but I had to turn it into a fashion story. I will re-shoot this idea for sure, as I can't just leave it at that.

Here is the result of the trail I had yesterday.

crazy days

Gosh, I have been sooo busy with client work, didnt even have time to properly think about own project. The shoot for it is tomorrow and I am both exited and anxious, I guess thats normal...

Did two shoots for MUAs graduation projects this week. Loved them both. Really nice people to work with, professional and reliable.
